"How long did it take you to paint that?"  You've been singing for how long?" Those are the questions Mary Bogue hears most often and the answer has evolved into, "Fifty-some years," said with a wide grin.

"Oh, to find your true passion - and unleash the mistress that tempts you into staying up way too late, demands it takes over everything else in your life, stirs your dreams and won't let go of you until you finish!" says Mary Bogue of her love for singing, oil painting, writing and acting.  "It's a temptress, a task master, a teacher, and at times your lover. Your muse cares not that you are operating on fumes, that you should be paying bills or sleeping!  She, and sometimes he, plays a particular piece of music or shows you a color, sparks your imagination and then you are once again lost in moods of indigo, magenta, emerald and suffer from the true meaning of the blues in the night."
